MAKE A DONATION BDRI solicite operating support for scientific research and educational programs. Our group is actively publishing and your donation may help us make discovers with impacts on scientific knowledge and conservation. We are not a sensationalist organisation, all our research and education programmes are based on real scientific facts. You will get to see your donations at work first hand: visit the BDRI field base, see the research projects being conducted in Sardinia. Funding for our research projects came from the BDRI (research courses, adoptions initiatives, merchandise, etc.) and private donations (we are autonomous and we don't receive any operating support from goverments). Bottlenose Dolphins are protected by European law, but in order to develop effective protection guidelines, education and research is necessary to find out much more about the dolphins, and the pressures they face. BDRI is grateful for any equipment donations - new or second hand. The Bottlenose Dolphin Research Institute BDRI uses a number of different items of equipment to carry out our research and education projects. If you have any of the following equipment that still works but you are about to throw out, please check if we can use it first.
