L'un de nos principaux objectifs est de former de futurs scientifiques à la recherche sur les mammifères marins, en offrant une grande variété de programmes et d’opportunités aux étudiants dans toutes les étapes de leur formation académique. En plus des activités de recherche scientifique, le BDRI propose des programmes éducatifs qui offrent la possibilité de développer son expérience professionnelle : formations spécialisées (research courses), volontariat (court séjour de formation ; volunteering), et stages (internships) pour étudiants en licence, IUT, DUT, maîtrise, master et doctorat.
Ces programmes permettent aux étudiants, et à toute personne intéressée, de travailler aux côtés de chercheurs et de participer au développement de projets de recherche scientifique sur la mégafaune marine (dauphins, baleines, marsouins, loutres et oiseaux marins) dans un des écosystèmes les plus productifs du monde (Galice, Nord-Ouest de l'Espagne). Nos programmes éducatifs visent à préparer les étudiants à une carrière professionnelle dans la recherche sur les mammifères et les oiseaux marins et la conservation du milieu marin.
