BDRI ADMISSIONS

We are pleased to announce that we are currently accepting applications for our educational programs for the 2022 and 2023 research seasons.
Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis.

COVID19 update: The BDRI will normally carry out its research projects and educational programs in Galicia (NW Spain) in 2022 & 2023. In acknowledgment of the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, we have instituted safety measures. Feel free to contact us for more information.

Long-term internship applications

Pre-approval is necessary for registration. This program includes internships, thesis, dissertations and reports for bachelor and master students throughout the year.

 

BEFORE APPLYING

✓ Download and read the INTERNSHIP INFORMATION PACKAGE - HERE and the APPLICATION FORM - HERE.

✓ Decide the internship period that interests you (dates are flexibles) (minimum stay of 4 consecutive weeks).

 

APPLY FOR INTERNSHIP - Submit your application by email

✓ The internship application should consist of the application form, a letter of interest, a resume and, if possible, a letter of recommendation from professors or research supervisors who are familiar with your academic career, research skills and work habits.

✓ Send the application form and other files by email to: internship@thebdri.com.

 

If you are applying for an immediate opening, you must state this in your e-mail. Applicants will be acknowledged by e-mail shortly after their complete application arrives at the BDRI. The application will be evaluated and accepted based on the information provided. Positions are typically offered to applicants whose admissions materials convey that they will - relative to other candidates - make best use of, and most benefit from, this educational opportunity.

Short-term internship applications

Pre-approval is necessary for registration. This program includes our marine mammal and conservation short-term internship ("volunteering") program.

Online Training Courses - Applications

The Bottlenose Dolphin Research Institute (BDRI) offers unique Online Training Courses designed for participants to increase their knowledge and learn new skills in marine mammal ecology and behaviour.

 

Send us an email at education@thebdri.com to sign up and be part of our online course mailing list. Once signed up, you will receive information about our scheduled courses and how to register. Places will be given on a first come first served basis.

 

Researcher for a day - Applications

Pre-approval is necessary for registration. Dates are flexible depending on the availability. This program includes our researcher for a day program in marine mammal science and conservation.
